josh: This has not been confirmed, but my research has revealed this strategy for getting an aurora ticket. 1. Beat the elite four 19 times. 2. Talk to a lady on Route 123 who will tell you about an event at Mt. Pyre. 3. Go to the top and talk to the old person. 4. Give him/her an emblem and a Pokemon. 5. A berry will fall. If this berry is a lum, take it, and you will receive an Aurora ticket.

i have raquaza, groudon, and kyogre, beaten the elite 4, and have caught a houndoor in the safari zone. you do not have to beat the elite four to get it.

ipo: Houndoor is one of the rarest Pokemon in the game. In my research, I have found two competing techniques for finding this particular Pokemon. Some are saying that you have to defeat the Elite 4 and then go to a new section in the Safari Zone. Others are saying that you may need a cheat device -- like Action Replay -- to access an area known as the Alternate or Altering Cave. It is there, they say, that you will find Houndoor.
