Sandy: You are not cheating. That's how the game is played and it sounds like you know what you're doing.
-- Contributed by: MichaelKwanSOmeone kept on telling me I was cheating. How am i supposedly cheating on literati. Towards the end I had a R and N, with a few other letters and I used those letters to make the word urn while u was on the board and it hit the 3W. How am i cheating?
-- Contributed by: SandyComment on tip#5:there are lots of words that do not require a vowel or has half-vowel(y);psst,pfft,brrr,cwms,crwths,wynds,rynds,typps,glycyls, rhythms, tsktsks, glyphs, sylphs etc.
-- Contributed by: khanI agree with Beth Haynes,3/4 seven letter words in a game is not that rare.A decent player, with some luck, can balance a rack in 3/4 turns and depending on the state of the board can get 4/5 bonus words.
-- Contributed by: khanwhen a host of a game plays a rated game, and nearing the end ofthe game, he is losing, he Stalls the game for HOURS. Using this tactic as the only means to win. Is there a way or code to disable or stop this kind of playing?
-- Contributed by: ONeilI will have to disagree with you about the odds being slim of a player coming up with 3 or 4 seven letter words in a game. You ARE correct in saying that a person would have to know how to use them, meaning they'd need a decent vocabulary. I've been playing this game for about 8 yrs now and it's nothing unusual for me to have 3 seven letter words a game, and usually a seven letter word on the first play. It's hard enough to find a decent player who won't accuse you of cheating without people like you telling everyone the odds are slim. I always thought the whole reason for the game was to improve your vocabulary competitively, not get accused of cheating when you do just that.

-- Contributed by: jocelynejust when i am about to win i get knocked off and lose the game. this happens frequently. what is the deal?
-- Contributed by: devinsqueenieI play literati and lately when other person tries to quit and I hit and a message comes up quit ,force forfeit,or wait, even when I'm way ahead in an untimed game and there are letters left , it goes to the person I'm playing, saying the other persoon won, It should have been my game, but yahoo keeps giving it to the other person .whats wrong. It only does that when that message comes up, but I'm tired of losing points on a game that obviously was mine. I've written yahoo several times

-- Contributed by: RahulColm: No, the tile distribution is random. I'm not sure what the odds would be of a player coming up with 3 or 4 seven letter words, but they're going to be pretty slim. Not only would you need an appropriate set of letters but the player would also need to be able to use them.
-- Contributed by: MichaelKwanwhat are the odds of a player coming up with 3 or 4 seven letter words consecutively in a game? Are there ways in which a player can select his or her tiles to give these possibilities happen. are there ways of selecting tiles for you opponet som all they can play only minimal words accruing only small insignificant scores?
