I saw a friend playing a WiiWare game called Little Tournament Over Yonder with his 6 yr old son. Both of them seem to enjoy it very much. I think there are quite a number of WiiWare or Virtual Console games suitable for parents & children to play together. These downloadable games would be much less expensive than the normal disc-based Wii games

Andres: If your children enjoyed that game, they may also like Go Diego Go Dino Resuce, Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Mermaids, and Dora The Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow Princess. These are all for the Wii.

Smarty Pants is a fun game for the whole family, especially younger kids. It's a trivia game with a little bit of intuitive question asking. Questions are geared towards the age, not just random and if you seem to be getting wrong answers, then the game adjusts the difficulty to a little easier. Also, if you are getting many right answers, the questions will get harder. And with over 20,000 questions, this game will not get old quick.
