cool but i think you should,first you need 3-4 residents, then go to the phone before u pick the character you want to use and change to Jan. 1 at 12:00 am then save and end then turn off ur ds then turn it back on.next uchange ur time again and put Jan. 1 at 1:00-3:00 and then check ur mail and mom will give u 10,000 u only could do that like 3 times a resident thats why uneed like 4 residents but after like 2 days u can do this again..

Well there is one more way to gain cash but it's a bit risky. Put in a good amount of bells into your bank account I suggest anywhere from 5000-20,000 and then save your game. Change the time on your DS to like 20-100 years from now and then start your game. Your interest that you gained will be insane! Now the problem with this trick is that weeds will take over your island completely and that means you risk having people leave your town. Now if you don't care about the people then that's fine but if you do well then your at a loss. Now I would suggest after you get your money go to your home and store it away in a fridge or something as when you restart if it's in your inventory you'll have it reduced. Now go to the town hall and save a letter, now your progress is saved. Simply restart the DS and yes you'll have to talk to resetti but it's worth it. So now in the present day you'll have the wad of bells you took from years in the future and if you go the bank account you'll still have the original amount you put in. Now Resseti aside you'll have the problem of weed control, it may take you a long time to clean up that is alone, if you have friends it will be a shorter time. On the plus side you now have a chance to collect 4 leaf clovers.

Emma Todd: There is no marriage function in Animal Crossing nor is there the ability to have a child. Perhaps you should suggest these ideas to Nintendo and they may include it in a future game?

just to let you know you do not need a golden shovel to get money out of rocks, you get the same amount of bells with a regular shovel.

If you have a friend-code then go to someone else's town and take your golden shovel with you and sell it in that persons tom nook and he will give you 300,000 bells for it!

one way to get some money is to put all of your money in the bank save than change the year to 2099. Go back on AC get your money out of the bank(you'll have more now)save, change the year back then do this over and over again till your rich. One set back... your village will have like hundreds of weeds.

Sammysamc: The money tree has a lot to do with luck as well. After burying the money bag, watch for a sapling that will emerge in the next day or two. When that happens, make sure you water it every day and soon, you'll have a money tree. Try to "plant" the money bag away from the beach and ensure that it was enough space (one unit in every direction) to grow.

if you have the ds version like i do you can easily make millions by simply fast forwarding time by 99 years and you can return to the present and keep the bells (save of course) and you get a letter in the mail that says you get 99,999 bells in intrest but you do get more than that and i know this works because i have done it myself but the weeds are the only bad thing about it though keep doing this and you will get a lot but for this to work you have to have bells in your account at the town hall

I think these cheats are brilliant! I know a sort of chest myself! Talk to other villagers allot because they might ask you to deliver something. If thats so, deliver the item and go straight back to the sender. They will reward you with something, this might be a item or some money. If it's an item you don't want, sell it to Tom Nook for some great cash...!

This guide is great. The problem about going into the future to make money is weeds come from everywhere and they take forever to get rid of. Also I was just wondering how do you make a coconut. Don't you put three of your native fruits on the sand and come back 24 hours later (you can time travel) and there is a coconut there. I am not certain about this cheat so if it doesn't work don't blame me.

Travis: The money tree should replenish itself, but it seems to take longer to "grow" a bag of money than the regular fruit trees. Just be patient.

If you have at least 100000 bells in your bank I know a easy way to make ALOT of cash!

Save your game after putting all your money in the bank. Go to the DS main menu, but the date forward 50 years. Go back on the animal crossing and you'll have lotsa money. just repeat and enjoy!!!

Ok, what you do is go to your friend's town, take whatever fruit they have (might wanna get their permission), and then bury it in your town. Nuture the tree until it is fully grown. Then shake the fruit off that tree, and bury it. Keep doing this until you have lots of different fruit trees. Don't shake any of them for about a week. Then, go around, and shake every tree. You'll have all the fruit, then sell it to Tom Nook. He will give you BIG BELLS. This is because your town fruit is 100 Bells per piece. Other fruits are 500 Bells per piece. Good luck!

Vivi: Strategies for planting a money tree are hit and miss. Usually, what you need to do is plant a bag of money, ensuring that there are no items within a one "unit" distance from where you plant it. This means no buildings, trees, rocks, or bodies of water in its immediate vicinity. If a tree starts to sprout, make sure you water it every day. Hopefully, the tree will take root and grow. It's a big gamble, because even if you do everything right, the tree might not live.

Scrambler: The reason why your town will fill with weeds is because you are tricking the game that you are in the future. You will notice that when you do not play the game for a while, weeds will start sprouting up in your town. By setting the date to 2099, you are effectively telling the game that you haven't played for over 90 years. That's a lot of time for weeds to grow!

If you have completely paid off your loan and have access to the bank you can make large sums of money farily quickly. You have to be willing to change the time on your DS. What you do is get a sum of money (50,000 at least) and put it in the bank. Then you change the time a few months or years ahead. Once u get back on you will get interest. The most interest you can get at a time is 99,999. You repeat this process until you have the desired amount of cash. WARNING: If you value your neighbors or the state of your town, do not use this method.

kloi90: There's no set number of times that you need to water a coconut tree. I personally found that watering the spot every day (2-3 pours) is the most effective, but even then, it's hit and miss.

Secret Agent: Planting a coconut tree is a very tricky process and it's very a much a hit-and-miss proposition. First, you must attain a coconut. These occasionally wash ashore near the beach. Next, you bury the coconut much like how you would bury an apple or a peach. The key difference is that the coconut must be buried near the beach (but not on it). The eight "units" that surrounding the buried location must also be free. This means no rocks, buildings, or other trees. The coconut tree needs this room. A few days after you bury the coconut, you may start to see a sapling. This is still very similar to other trees that you may be planting. A coconut tree is much more fragile, however, and needs to be watered every day after the sapling appears. It doesn't hurt to water the spot before the sapling appears too. Even with the best of care, your first coconut tree may fail to grow. There really is no rhyme or reason for this, so just be persistent.

Rebecca: Yes that is correct. When planting a coconut tree, there are three things that you must keep in mind.

1. The coconut must be planted near the beach at the south end of the town. 2. There must not be anything (rock, tree, etc.) within one "unit" of space of where you plant the coconut. 3. Coconut tree growth is very fragile and you will have many failed attempts. Don't forget to water the young tree!

if you bury a cocanut you can grow a cocanut tree and then get the cocanuts tof the tree and you get 500 bells for each cocanut.

ok first you need about 20,000 bells in ur bank account. Then save the game and go to ur ds's settings and change the time to 2099. then go back on ac:ww and u will get a letter saying u have 99,999 bells of interest. save thgen change the year up on to make it go back to 2000. (this saves time changing years) then go on and save. repeat the process. u can get millions of bells pay of ur mortgage buy anything u like etc... spend ur money without a care in the world. NOTE:MANY MANY MANY MANY WEEDS!!!! and when i say that i mean LOTS! also neighbourghs will move away :( not recomended if u love a weed free town and have good relationships with neighbourghs lol. also you can get at least 10 four leaf clovers by picking them all. have fun :D

James: Pascal is a wandering sea otter that washes up on the beach from time to time. He serves a similar purpose as Gulliver from the original Animal Crossing. If you happen to see Pascal on the beach, bring him a Scallop seashell and he will give you a golden axe in return. There is nothing you can do to promote Pascal's appearance; he shows up at random.
