The Blood Elves: The Beginning Quests

• In the starting point of this World of Warcraft game expansion, you will spend time learning about Blood Elf history, and finding out the truth about the tragic fate of the people of Silver moon.

• In the Eversong Woods, quest to rid the land of the Wretched and assassinate an Alliance spy.

Ghostland

The Ghostland area in Burning Crusade will present many challenges. It is controlled by a union of the Forsaken Forces and Blood Elves. Influenced by the Quest Givers and your own determination, you will seek to find a new magic source of energy for your people and join forces with those battling against the Scourge.

An interesting quest you will encounter in WoW:BC involves a mysterious necklace found on a fallen ranger who have overrun the Windrunner Spire. In Tranquilien, you will find out that it is a lost gift to the Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, which will lead you on a quest to Sylvanas in the Undercity. Once you see Sylvanas, you will get insight to a key character and treated to a mysterious vocal performance, which is a highlight in Burning Crusade that should not be missed.

The Draenei: The Beginning Quests

The Draeni are a race that has traveled through the cosmos for over a thousand years. This newly introduced race in the World of Warcraft now reach Azeroth in their ship called the Exodar, which ends up crashing into a mountain. This tragedy leaves very few survivors, but you are one of the lucky ones.

You will begin your journey in the Ammen Vale of Azuremyst Isle, where you will spend your initial quests trying to make friends and allies along the way.

Here is a sample of some of these initial quests on Azuremyst Isle:

• One race, called the Furbolgs, wants your help, but you will have to learn how to communicate in their language before anything can be done.

• An Alliance ship’s crewmembers ask you to help them flush out a traitor among their group.

• The result of the crash of the Exodar has left dangerous amounts of pollution on Azurmeyst Isle and Bloodmyst Isle. You will be asked to help investigate and find a way to reduce this toxin from the land.

• The Hand of Argus captures a Blood Elf, who reveals after intense interrogation that Sironas, a traitor among the Draenei, is working alongside the Blood Elves. Your mission is clear. You must destroy Sironas and her corrupt forces.

Other Notable World of Warcraft Encounters in the Outland

• In the Abyssal Shelf located in the Hellfire Peninsula, fly on a gryphon or Wyvern to bomb demons from the Burning Legion and stop the dimensional gateways from allowing the introduction of more enemy forces into the area.

• Battle the champions of Nagund in the arena of the Ring of Blood. Owned by the Ogres of the region, they offer fantastic awards for the winners. Put together a group of allies and see if you’re up to the challenge.

• Encounter Giant Robots in the region of Netherstorm. You are asked by a quest giver to test out one of his robot creations, which ends up turning into a battle against a larger, and more dangerous robot enemy.
