Virtual Console Archive - Wii VC Reviews
This UK-centric Virtual Console site has tons of reviews on games released both in North America and in the United Kingdom. The "currently available" list, organized by the system each game was originally released on, has a very handy table that shows the game's name, the publisher, genre, Wii Points cost, overall rating (out of 5 stars), and whether or not it's been released in the U.S. and UK. The VC Archive is so far the best and most reliable site for reviews on all Virtual Console games. Make it your first stop and you won't be disappointed.
VC Notifier - More than Just Reviews
Ready and waiting for the Nintendo Wii launch, a number of start-up websites were rolled out promising to integrate the Wii experience with the internet. One of these sites is VC Notifier, a service that sends you an e-mail or SMS message whenever the Virtual Console is updated in any way. The site has been adding a few VC game reviews in the past few weeks, but the list is being filled out quite slowly. Still, with its unique notification service, it's well worth your visit.
AdvanceMediaNetwork - Wii VC Reviews
The Wii channel on the AMN network of gaming websites features weekly round-ups on all Virtual Console game releases. Check back a few days after the new batch of titles hit the service for quick impressions and screenshots.
IGN's Reviews
IGN has also hopped on the Virtual Console game reviewing wagon and has a good selection of VC games reviewed and ranked, ready for your perusal. While the list isn't as exhaustive as it could be, most of the major games are featured here with full write-ups from the IGN staff.
1UP - Early VC Game Reviews
When the Virtual Console first launched, 1UP.com had a featured article listing the pros and cons of the new download system with a short discussion of the launch games. Not a comprehensive list by far, but worth reading if you're still on the fence about trying the VC in the first place.
Mozlapunk.net
The gaming website Mozlapunk.net has a small section featuring reviews on many launch games on the Virtual Console. The page promises more reviews in the near future, so hopefully it will be filled out with tons of information sooner rather than later.
