Wii Sports Resort cheats may not give you any added advantage over your competitors, but these codes can add some fun flair to the experience.

Just like Wii Sports and Wii Play before it, this game gives you yet another opportunity to play as your custom Mii characters. While the original Wii Sports did not seem to have a specific location attached to it at all, Wii Sports Resort introduces the Nintendo gaming community to a tropical getaway known as Wuhu Island.

It is at this sun-filled paradise that you will be able to explore all the different activities that the resort has to offer. From archery to basketball, canoeing to table tennis, there's something here for everyone. The colorful graphics and easy-to-understand gameplay make for a very appealing package for gamers of all ages.

Whereas the original Wii Sports only contained five different sports, there are a total of 12 different sports in this Nintendo Wii game. Each sport has multiple variations too! Not surprisingly, this also means that there are many different Wii Sports Resort cheats to consider.

In order to access these different game modes, hold the "2" button on the Wii Remote while pressing "A" on the "Select a Mii" screen before an event starts. Keep holding the "2" button until after the black warning screen.

• Advance Golf: Removes the information from the screen for wind direction, wind speed, and distance to the hole
• Evening Swordplay: Participate in the Duel at night
• Advance Frisbee Golf: Removes wind direction, wind speed, and hole distance information from the gameplay screen
• Advance Archery: Deletes the aiming circle from the screen
• Air Sports Skydiving: Play the intro event
• Faster Table Tennis: Play an eleven-point match
• Nighttime Basketball: Host the event in the evening

Did you know that there was another golf course available? What you need to do is shoot under par on each of the existing three-hole courses. This is for Resort A, Resort B, Resort C, Classic A, Classic B, and Classic C.

Along with the stamps that you can earn at each individual event, it is also possible to earn special ratings for your Mii character in those events. You'll see that when you do well in a sport, your rating gains points. When you do poorly, your rating loses points.

When you get to 1,000 points in any sport, you unlock the Pro level rating. Reach 2,000 points in a sport, and you unlock the Superstar level rating.

It's not quite the same as an official Star Wars game, but the Swordplay event is the next best thing. It also happens to be home to some great cheats and secrets.

• Purple Sword: Defeat the Duel Champion, then hold the "1" button during the loading screen for Swordplay.
• Reverse Stages: Complete all ten showdown stages to play them backwards
• 2nd Armor: Achieve a Pro rating (1,000) in Duel MOde
• Samurai Armor: Beat the Dual Mode Champion to earn this armor

• 100-Pin Explosion: In the 100-pin bowling game, roll the ball along the gutter guard on either side without it falling off. This will detonate a muted explosion that results in a perfect strike.

• Star Bowling Ball: Achieve a Pro level in bowling to get this extra special bowling ball
