Realm Vs. Realm

One of the big deals in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is the Realm Vs. Realm action. While some roleplay games have you complete tasks and quests on your own before going on to another task on your own, the Realm Vs. Realm aspect means your actions will contribute to your factions overall goal. Also, you "will never fight alone": You have multitudes of allies who will help you attack, defend land, or help you in the war.

Tome of Knowledge

For the ultimate quest, seek out Warhammer texts, books, scrolls and anything have to do with Warhammer lore. You can find new spells and abilities and even gain some rewards. Looking for items for the Tome of Knowledge will also reveal some plotlines that have soap opera appeal... except for the fantasy world.

Public Quests

If you are one of those types who like to play solo, don't be afraid of embarking on Public Quests. You can fight side-by-side with another player for as long as you want or for one quest. It's up to you.

Living Cities

You become part of a city that has unprecedented depth. From characters to storylines, what you do in your faction affects if your city becomes wealthier and industrious or poorer and less popular.

There are two main factions that are battling it out to determine who will rule the world:

At first you either changed from the plague or died from the hands of someone who contracted the plague. Soon, members of the Empire are basically forced to fight in order to survive.
