Virtual Villagers is a simulation game where you are responsible for a tribe of people who have survived a volcanic eruption on the island. Your job is to help them learn the keys to survival. Virtual Villagers Hints

• One of the first problems your villagers will encounter is how to find food. In the beginning of the game, the only place to find food is the Berry Bush. However, the supply from the bush is limited so you will need to find other sources as your population begins to grow. Train a couple of villagers to be researchers so they will be able to produce gardens and fish.

• Find buried treasure by dropping a master builder between the food source and the temple on the beach. You may have to drop him there a couple times to get him to start digging, but it will be worth it.

• Examine the weird looking lily in the northeast corner of the map. It will improve their healing powers.

• To speed up building and crop growing times, change the time on your computer ahead one hour.

• If you are having problems with breeding, it may be because there is not enough food stored.

Virtual Villages Puzzle Solutions

Here are each of the 16 puzzles, listed in sequence.

1. Get a builder to remove the well cover
2. The villagers need another hut to live in. Have one built, and then the builder will start the other important project that is needed to complete the puzzle.
3. The problem is simple, the beach is full of debris. Have your villagers remove all the junk away.
4. You need to create a school, so drag the master scientist over an existing building.
5. The creek is being blocked by some kind of obstacle. Have the builder remove the stuff out of the way.
6. Berries aren't enough. Put a master farmer in the lagoon so he can fish.
7. A cemetery must be created. When a villager dies, drag them to the northeast corner of the island.
8. Research four specific types of plants in order to discover herbs.
9. Teach the villagers how to revive a dying garden by dropping one of them on an area where dead flowers are present and have them water the plants. The revived garden will be a special “magical” garden.
10. A plant in the northwest part of the island needs to be pollinated. You will need butterflies to accomplish this task.
11. The ruins will need to be restored.
12. A temple will need to be built. Build up your villager’s spirituality up to level 3, then put a builder by the rock near the lagoon.
13. The Golden Child needs to be created. Accomplish this by putting a nursing mother into the lagoon.
14. You need to find the butterflies. Place the Golden Child in the “magical” garden created when you solved puzzle 9. Now you will be able to complete puzzle 10.
15. South of the food bin is a buried treasure. Place a master builder in the area to find the location.
16. A boulder is blocking the cave. The Golden Child is the only one who can remove this obstacle.
17. Relax and reap the benefits.
