Link's Items

Remote Bombs

  • Fuse Kinstones with the elder of the Minish Village, then exit to the north-west. Enter the nearby hut to swap for the remote bombs.

Light Arrows

  • Fuse Kinstones with a man in the yellow-roofed house in the northeast corner of Hyrule Town. A warp will open leading to Cloud Castle. There, you'll find a man haunted by a spirit. Use the gust jar and suck it up. Later you'll pass through here and the man will give you the Light Arrows. (Note: You can't collect the Light Arrows if you've already beaten the game.)

Mirror Shield

  • The larger shield reflects more than just rocks and arrows. After you've beaten the game, make sure you've completed the Goron wall-digging quest that gives you the last bottle. Then, fuse with the Goron on the right to make a Big Goron appear atop Veil Falls. The giant will ask if he can eat your shield. Let him! Don't buy a replacement, just come talk to him a bit later and he'll present you with the Mirror Shield.

Magic Boomerang

  • Fuse Kinstones with all four Tingle siblings. Each one opens a tree just north of Hyrule Town. Hit all the switches to open a path in the center that leads to the Magic Boomerang.

Link's Sword Techniques

  • Visiting the dojos in The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap let's you learn a new sword technique from the blade masters. There are eight in all.
  • Dash Attack - Visit the Hyrule Town dojo after obtaining the Pegasus Boots.
  • Downthrust - Visit the Hyrule dojo after getting the cape.
  • Great Spin Attack - Visit the dojo in Castor Wilds after collecting seven Tiger Scrolls.

  • Spin Attack - The Hyrule dojo will reward you with this move after you complete Deepwood Shrine.
  • Sword Beam - Get the Flame Lantern and visit Grimblade in Hyrule Castle.

Minish Bonuses

  • Fuse all Kinstones, then speak to Tingle to get a golden Tingle statue.
  • Collect 130 figurines to uncover a sound test (speak to the guy outside of the cafe) and gain access to the locked house in Hyrule.
  • Many free-standing trees contain fairies! Press R while walking to roll and crash into them to shake the heart-replenishing helpers out of the limbs.
  • Want some easy rupees? Get the Mole Mitts and dig just to the left of your house's door. A 20 rupee coin pops out. Go inside, then step back out again and dig for 20 more. Repeat until filthy rich.
