The Godfather is set to stun retail shelves on March 24th with open-world environments based on the classic films and book. The classic story has been imitated, parodied and memorized by fans for years. The Godfather video game puts you right in the middle of the action as a young man entering the Corleone family. Create your own custom character and work your way to the top. Step into 1940s New York City to carve your path to glory, reliving classic moments from the story and creating new ones along the way.
David DeMartini, executive producer of The Godfather video game, says it's only fitting for this dramatic and memorable story to receive an open, complex and responsive video game environment to immerse players in the action. He says, "The deeper you go, the better the game gets," just like the films and book.
The Godfather Legacy
EA took special care to maintain the legacy of The Godfather while allowing players the freedom to explore. EA Redwood Shores studio has been intensely developing the game for some time. They have worked on such hit franchises such as the Lord of the Rings and James Bond.
I Can't Wait
The Godfather video game hits stores in Europe and North America on March 24 for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 systems. Later in the year a PlayStation Portable (PSP) version and Xbox 360 version will also be available. It would please the Godfather greatly if you played his game.
