Super Bounce Out Cheats and Tips

From LoveToKnow VideoGames

If you're looking for Super Bounce Out cheats, tips, and hints, then this guide is definitely for you. There are several variations to this enjoyable match-three game, including the original Bounce Out, Super Bounce Out, and Bounce Out Blitz. Each successive generation may offer updated graphics and smoother animations, but the core gameplay remains largely unchanged. As such, the strategies and hints described below are applicable to just about any Bounce Out game you find on the internet.

Super Bounce Out Cheats and Tips

Super Bounce Out Cheats and Tips

Your main task in Super Bounce Out is to swap adjacent marbles to create matching sets of three (or more). There is no need to remember any complicated keyboard combinations or anything of that sort: the entire interface is done with your computer mouse. Simply click on one colored ball, and then click on any ball that is touching it to swap the two. Bear in mind that each swap must result in a matching line (vertical or diagonal) of marbles.

As you progress through the game, you will slowly encounter additional colors (making it more difficult to form matching sets), as well as other obstacles that will make the game more challenging (thus extending the replay value of Super Bounce Out). Hopefully, these tricks and strategies will improve your skills as a Bounce Out enthusiast.

Moves Left

If you check the right hand column, you will find a couple of useful numbers that may aid you in your ball-matching quest. One of these, Moves Left, is indicated just about the buttons for Start, Instructions, Options, and Exit Game.

As you can probably figure out, this shows you how many possible moves there are available at the time. If it is particularly low (2 or 3), you will likely have a harder time finding an appropriate swap than if it were high (8 or more). However, this is not why this number may be the most useful.

When you make a successful match, watch to see if this number goes up. If the Moves Left goes up, it means that as a result of the previous match, there are more available moves based on the marbles that came pouring down. Look in the general vertical area for available moves. If the number goes down, then chances are that there are no (or few) available moves in that column or its vicinity. This strategy ensures that you are focusing your attention where it will likely have the greatest results.

Balls To Go

Just above the Moves Left indicator is one that shows how many balls you have to go (Balls To Go). This shows you how many additional marbles must be bounced over before you can move onto the next level. This may or may not help you advance, but it gives you an indication as to how much further you have to go.

Start from the Bottom

Chain reactions are wonderful, glorious things, and exploiting them in Super Bounce Out may be one of the best strategies out there. As new balls tumble in from the top of the screen, it is perhaps in your best interest to focus most of your attention near the bottom of the screen. This is because by clearing a trio (or quad) near the bottom will "shake up" the orientation and make-up of the marbles above it the most. This can sometimes result in unexpected matching sets, which in turn can cause other matching sets, and so on. In this way, you may have directly bounced out three balls, but as a result, six, nine, maybe even twelve balls are going to be eliminated!

The Panic Button

If you look near the end of the wick to the dynamite, you'll see a red button (about the same size as the playing balls) marked "Panic". Use this "hint" button with discretion, as while it may point out one possible move, it also increases the possibility of receiving black balls. Why is this a bad thing? Keep reading.

Immovable Black Balls

Super Bounce Out is a very colorful action-puzzle game with plenty of whimsical sounds and fun gameplay. What better way to rain on that parade then to introduce the drab, dark, and evil black balls. These midnight-colored marbles cannot be swapped with any other ball, and you cannot attempt to create a matching set of three black balls to bounce them out. They are immovable and unbounceable. This creates a more difficult time forming matching lines of colored balls.

A Ticking Time Bomb

Keep a close eye on that dynamite at the bottom of the screen. When the wick burns all the way down to those explosive sticks, the field detonates and the game ends. In this way, it is absolutely paramount to make haste when playing Super Bounce Out, forming matching trios as quickly as you possibly can.

Good Scanning Ability is Key to Super Bounce Out

While the above tips and hints may aid you in your ball-matching journey, there really is no substition for experience. They do say that practice makes perfect, and being a good, nay, great casual gamer is no different. As you play Super Bounce Out and other similar games -- Bejeweled, Jewel Quest, Rainbow Quest, etc. -- your scanning skills will likely improve and you will be spotted possible moves faster than ever before.

Keep at it and you'll be a ball-busting expert in no time.
