About Sky Odyssey

Sky Odyssey is an action game where you get to fly a selection of planes: Swordfish MK, BF-109, Pulse Jet, and Shinden-Kail. Go on missions, fly through difficult terrain, find the checkpoints, and do acrobatics in the air. This is a simple, non-violent flying game that is suitable for all ages.

Difficulty Levels/Modes of Play

There is only one level of difficulty in Sky Odyssey, but several modes of play.

• In Adventure Mode, you search for the legendary Tower of Maximus and reveal its mysteries.

• In Target Mode, you destroy targets suspended in the air before running out of time.

• Sky Canvas mode you draw in the air by releasing smoke from your aircraft

• In Training Mode you learn how to use the controls and practice flying

• In Free Flight Mode, you can select any map area already cleared in the Adventure mode to fly around for fun.

• In the Hanger you can watch replays of other game modes you played before, and view your inventory of items.

Fun Factor

Sky Odyssey is an easy game to play. In many of your missions you are flying around trying to find a specific target. You can do acrobatic tricks with your plane for bonus points, and find all the checkpoint rings. When each mission is completed you get a scorecard of your overall performance. A high enough rank allows you to add new features to your plane

Some of the items you can customize on your plane are: Wing, Tail Wing, Engine, Propeller, Canopy, Fuselage, Boost, Paint and Emblem.

The Heads Up Display gives you a lot of information. It shows you how much time has elapsed during flight, the status of your landing gear and throttle, a damage meter, a sea level altimeter, and airspeed indicator and a fuel gauge. Keep a close eye on your damage meter, a miscalculation can have you crashing towards the grounds in a cloud of smoke!

If you are having a difficult time with the controller or other settings, they can be adjusted in the Options menu.

When choosing a plane, you want to consider the aircraft’s overall performance rating in Speed, Strength, Climbing Ability, Stability, Weight and Power.

In Sky Odyssey you also have to be concerned with weather. Gusts of wind and rain effect the stability of your plane and visibility of your surroundings.Rain and snow are your most difficult weather situations. Your visibility and control of the plane make it a challenge when trying to land on a battle cruiser or other short strips of rough terrain.
