Shadow of the Colossus Cheat Codes

Defeating the gigantic Colossi in Shadow of the Colossus is not an easy challenge. Here are some tips that may help you with the game.
The ancient sword you possess has a couple other uses other than combat:
- Locating the Colossus with a beam of light guiding your path
- Identifying weak areas of the Colossus. You must make sure the sword is active to see the glowing areas which show you the specific spots
- When searching for the Colossi, keep an eye out for the hard to find save locations on the map. This way you are closer to your current Colossus if you need to quit the game. It will save you travel time.
- Learn to use the bow and arrow well. Sometimes it is too difficult to attack certain areas of the Colossus without a precise hit from an arrow.
- Have patience. Climbing the Colossus can sometimes be a challenge in itself. If you die, you will still continue in the same area where you started fighting him.
Shadow of the Colossus Cheats
Unlock Hard mode and Time Attack Mode
- After game completion, watch all the credits then save the game again. You will now have access to both of these modes.
Play as the Demon Colossus
- Defeat all Colossi to unlock Dormin the demon Colossus
Change Agro’s color to white
- In Hard Time attack mode, get all bonus items. Then go to the title screen and press and hold the circle button.
Normal Time Attack Mode Bonus items
The following items (in order) will be available to you every time you defeat 2 Colossi in normal Time Attack mode:
- Whistling Arrow
- Cloak of Force
- Mask of Strength
- Lizard Detection Stone
- Fruit Tree Map
- Mask of Power
- Cloak of Deception
Hard Time Attack Mode Bonus items
The following items (in order) will be available to you every time you defeat 2 Colossi in hard Time Attack mode:
- Harpoon of Thunder
- Sword of the Sun
- Fruit Tree Map
- Shaman’s Cloak
- Cloth of Desperation
- Queen’s sword from Ico
