Helpful Red and Blue Pokémon Tips

Find Level 100 Pokémon

• First, get a Pokémon that can fly. Then go see a man in the Vardian City who will tell you the location of the pokemon in Cinnabar Islands. Fly to the Cinnabar Islands. The pokemon is east of the Poke Center.

Tips to Easily Catch Them

• When you throw a poke ball, hold the A and B button to easily catch him
• Throw the poke ball pressing up and B, then let go when the ball starts to jerk.
• Weaken the pokemon or make it go to sleep. When you throw the ball, hold the B button and continually hit with the right directional button.

Make Money on the Slot Machines

• In Celadon City, play each machine 4 times. Whichever machine hits at least 2 or more, continue to play that one for a big payoff.

Create an Ultra Ball

• Go to the safari zone, then when you throw your ball, press the A button as fast as you can.

Create a Masterball

• When you throw a regular poke ball, hold the down + B until it explodes.

Fight a Land Pokémon on Water

• Travel to the east side of Seafoam Islands. Surf along the eastern coast and the pokemon will follow you from the last area you visited.

Increase Fighting Damage

• After you select your attack method, hold down the A button until your opponent’s life bar stops draining. Then, proceed to finish him off.

Extra Experience

• Go to the Pokémon Daycare Center, and for every step Ash takes, you get one experience point.

Secret coin location

• Find them in the Game Corner. Walk around and press A to pick them up.

A helpful Game Shark code

• Enter the code 01_ _d8cf, then go to a tall grass location. There you will find a Pokémon god.

Fishing for Pokémon

• When you go to the gym, stand near the pokemon statues and fish for water pokemon.
