Online Video Game Rental

From LoveToKnow VideoGames

Online video game rental allows you to rent your video games without leaving the comfort of your own home. The games are shipped to you and you return them to the rental site with a prepaid envelope. The most successful rental sites all use their web sites to allow you to browse, choose and order video games.

What to look for when picking an online video game rental site:

  • Do you usually play one game at a time, or do you want to rent several simultaneously?
  • Make sure the online game rental company offers the shipping cost as part of your subscription fee; this way you will not incur any surprise charges
  • Does the site offer games for your platform of choice? While nearly everyone has games for the Xbox and Playstation2, some sites do not carry games for the portable game systems or for the original Playstation.
  • Compare prices and free offers. While the prices are all in a similar range, there are differences and over the course of a year these small amounts can add up. If you plan to quit after your free trial, make sure you do it within their defined time period.

There are several sites that offer online video game rental. We have assembled a quick comparison guide to help you choose the best place to rent your games:

Comments

I don't know about Gplay but GamezNFlix is TERRIBLE and Gamefly isn't great either, I use Get Your Gamez and they beat both rental companies that I have tried!
