Even though it was one of the first Wii launch titles, gamers are still very interested in Nintendo Wii cheats for Zelda Twilight Princess. It may not be the newest game on the shelf, but it's still easily one of the best.

It was not immediately obvious to players when they first played Twilight Princess, but one of the reasons why this game continues to be incredibly popular to this day is that it provides what is known as the Twilight Hack.

Although it is not officially among the Nintendo Wii cheats for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the Twilight Hack is of interest to many Nintendo owners. This is because it provides a way to install and run the unofficial Homebrew Channel on the Nintendo Wii. Through the Homebrew Channel, players are able to enjoy unofficial homebrew applications and games that have not been released officially.

A quick search on YouTube will reveal many tutorial videos for how to exploit the Twilight Hack and the Homebrew Channel. As always, proceed at your own risk and with extreme caution. These unauthorized modifications may void your Wii's warranty and cause other unexpected problems.

As with every other game in the Legend of Zelda series of role-playing games, there are no real Nintendo Wii cheats for Zelda Twilight Princess. However, there are an abundance of unlockable items, secret areas, and other useful tips to point the sword-touting Link in the right direction.

One of the more interesting glitches in the game allows you to have an unlimited supply of bomb arrows. Play the balloon popping game near the cannon man, but run into the cliff immediately, telling the bird you don't want to play again.

Equip the Zora Tunic and clawshot as a human and step off the platform into the water. Turn to the cliff on the left, use the clawshot, swim to the wall while holding the clawshot and push the wall until you go through it.

Use the iron boots to sink, then swim up so you fall through the water and talk to the bird. Tell the bird that you want to play the balloon game again, but fall into the water during the air ride. Turn into a wolf by the canoe ride and jump in the water. Talk to Midna.

Ride the canoe in wolf form down the river, then tell Zora that you want to ride again. You will glitch to the ground rather than in the canoe. Warp somewhere else, turn human, and you will have infinite bomb arrows from the "Lent Bomb Bag" and a glitched quiver.

In addition to the regular fishing pole, there are at least three interesting unlockables for use in Twilight Princess.

• Frog Fishing Lure: Beat all eight levels of Roal Goal in the owner's establishment. After finishing all eight levels, you will be given the frog fishing lure, which is great for bass.

• Sinker Lure: Catch a Hylain Pike, Hyrule Bass, and an Ordon Catfish. Go to the southeast corner of the fishing hole closest to the house. Equip the Fishing Rod (bobber) with a coral earring hook. Avoid Hena, as she will take the Sinker Lure away from you.

• Bottle: Look for the "No Littering" sign by the fishing hole. A bottle can be found near the left side of the bridge where the darker water is.

While the instruction manual from Nintendo is fairly comprehensive, there are hidden moves in Twilight Princess as well.

By rolling then quickly slashing with the sword, you can perform a rolling stab.

Quickly dismount a horse by holding Z, then pressing A. This gets you to flip off the back of the horse so that you can engage in battle.
