My Sims Racing DS Cheats

It's time to hit up the track with some thrilling My Sims Racing DS cheats. Just because they come from the safe and friendly environment of the MySims universe doesn't mean that these characters are opposed to a little bit of extra help.

For those of you who are not familiar with the MySims universe, MySims is a more family-friendly franchise that was born out of the Sims franchise from Electronic Arts. In turn, the life simulating world of the Sims is an extension of the legendary SimCity series of video games.

This particular title takes a similar approach to racing as a game like Mario Kart DS. It's not meant to be ultra-realistic with real world vehicles. Instead, our cartoon heroes offer terrific arcade action for a fast-paced jaunt around some intriguing tracks. It could very well be one of the best racing games to play on the Nintendo DS.

Unfortunately, at the time this article was written, no My Sims Racing DS cheats have been made available to the public. This may change over time as gamers discover some neat cheat codes, tips, hints, and unlockables, however.

That's not to say that you will be without MySims Racing cheat codes altogether. The accompanying game on the Nintendo Wii, which goes by the exact same title, does have some racing game cheats for you to consider.

In the Wii version, you can try these following cheat codes. Select "Extras" from the Main Menu, then choose "Cheats." The codes can be entered on that screen.

• Butterflies (Wheel Upgrade) - z74hsv

In the original MySims for the Nintendo Wii, which was released way back in September 2007, there was a password system in place that allowed for the unlocking of several outfits. Just like you could do in Animal Crossing, you are able to dress up your Sim in new clothes on a regular basis.

To access the password entry system in MySims on the Wii, bring up the pause screen during a game by hitting the - button located to the left of the Home button on the Wii Remote. Using the Wii Remote, enter the following sequence: 2, 1, down, up, down, up, left, left, right, right. The directions are to be entered using the directional pad (and not the Nunchuk).

From there, several passwords can be entered to unlock new clothes. There may be a similar system in place for entering My Sims Racing DS cheats. The cheats for MySims clothing and items include these passwords:

Based on the approach that Electronic Arts has taken with other games in the MySims franchise, it seems that if any My Sims Racing DS cheats were to arise in the near future, they would take on the form of short passwords.

These passwords, as you can tell from the cheat codes shown above, appear to be random collections of about seven characters. This makes them difficult to guess and that might explain why the cheats for My Sims Racing DS have been difficult to discover.
