Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - A Kid's Perspective
All By Yourself
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is a great game. In one player mode, you are stranded on a distant planet called Aether. While there, you just try to survive the attacks of the undead zombies and little green creatures called Ings. Also, you have this cool thing called "Morph Ball". It turns you into a compact ball that can fit into cramped openings. If you survive, you travel through tunnels and such, updating your weapons and log book, and finding all of the inventory items that you lost in the begining of the level.
Have A Party
If you have some friends, you will without a doubt have a blast in multiplayer mode. In some ways, multiplayer is better than single player mode. It is better because you have power-ups that you would have to find in one player. For example, there are boxes in multiplayer that contain either the light beam, the dark beam, the annihilator beam, or power bombs in plain sight, all of which you would have to spend ages looking for in one-player mode. You can battle your buddy in deathmatch, or try to gather coins in bounty mode.
In Short
Metroid Prime 2 is a great single and multiplayer game.
