Madden NFL 2006 Cheats
From LoveToKnow VideoGames
The Madden franchise has a long tradition of being the absolute best in football video games (Sidenote: Some may argue that Acclaim’s NFL Quarterback Club was better in some years). Now in its 16th offering, Madden NFL 2006 can be found on nearly every video game console out there, including the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Game Boy Advance. The following cheats are based on the GameCube version of the game, but they should also be applicable to the other platforms.
Madden Cards
Like the past handful of Madden games, most of the “cheats” or “bonuses” in the current incarnation are found through the use of “Madden Cards.”
You earn “Madden Points” for completing certain feats in a game--Completing a 40-yard pass, for example. With these “Madden Points”, you can purchase “Madden Cards.” You can also earn points and cards via the training camp challenges.
The “Madden Cards” are divided into three groups—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—providing an appropriate accompanying boost in abilities, change in rules, or other game-altering changes. For example, a certain Bronze card may make first downs only 5 yards (instead of the usual 10) for one drive.
”Free” Stuff
In “My Madden”, check under “Madden Cards” as usual. There, you will find an option for “Madden Codes”. Enter these cheats and freely reap the benefits.

Glitch: Run/Pass
If you’re opponent is lined up in any two-back offensive formation (with the exception of weak-I), you can very easily find out whether it is a pass or run play by bringing up the coach cam. If the halfback is labelled with an “L”, then it’s a pass. An “R” signifies a run.
