Kingdom Hearts is a fun game; however, you can get stuck at times if you're not prepared. This guide will provide you with helpful hints to some of the game's toughest head-scratchers.

Keyhole Locations

Your goal in the game will be to seal the following keyhole locations. If you're having trouble finding them use this list.

1. Traverse Town -- Second District

2. Wonderland -- Bizzare Room

3. Deep Jungle -- Waterfall

4. Olympis Colliseum -- Under Big Block (trigger yellow Trinity stamp)

5. Agrabah -- Lamp Chamber

6. Monstro -- Does not have an actual keyhole, but counts as one.

7. Atlantica -- Ariel's Grotto

8. Halloweentown -- Oggie's Manor (after second defeat)

9. Neverland -- Big Ben

10. Hallow Bastion -- Grand Hall (after defeating Malificent, Riku, Dragon and Behemoth)

11. Traverse Town -- Magician's Study (the book you repaired)

12. End of the World -- After you defeat Ansem for the last time.

Keyblades

You will want to have Sora armed with his best weapon at all times. Use this list find the best keyblades at his disposal.

Crabclaw - Seal Atlantica.

Divine Rose - Talk to Belle in the Hollow Bastion Library.

Fairy Harp - Seal Neverland.

Jungle King - Seal the Deep Jungle.

Lady Luck - White Trinity Mark in Wonderland.

Lionheart - Defeat Leon and Cloud in the Hercules Cup.

Metal Chocobo - Defeat Cloud in the Hercules Cup.

Oathkeeper - Talk tko Kairi in the Secret Waterway in Traverse Town.

Oblivion - In a chest in Hollow Bastion's Grand Hall.

Olympia - Complete all of the Cup Tournaments in the Collessium.

Pumpkinhead - Seal Halloweentown.

Spellbinder - Talk to Merlin after obtaining all first level magic abilities.

Three Wishes - Seal Agrabah.

Wishing Star - Save Pinnochio from Monstro and then Geppetto will give it to you in Traverse Town.

Additional Keyblades in "Final Mix"

These keyblades are only found in the Japanese "Final Mix" version of Kingdom Hearts.

• Diamond Dust - Beat Ice Titan in the Hercules Cup.

• One-Winged Angel - Defeat Sephiroth in Platinum Match.

Ultimate Weapons

Goofy - Save the King -- Complete the Hades Cup in time limit mode.

Donald - Save the Queen -- Complete the hades Cup with Sora only.

Sora - Ultima Weapon -- Synthesize all 24 items at least once in the Item Workshop then synthesize it with the following items:

• 5 Power Gems -- Dropped by enemies on the Neverland Ship Deck.
• 5 Lucid Gems -- Dropped by Wight Night and Gargoyle in Halloweentown.
• 5 Thunder Gems -- Dropped by Screwdrivers and Aquatanks in Atlantica.
• 3 Gales -- Dropped by every enemy in the room before Final Rest in End of the World.
• 3 Mystery Goo - Use Trinity Limit to defeat Black Fungus in the following locations: Bazaar in Agrabah, Moonlight Hill in Halloweentown, Cell in Hollow Bastion and linked worlds in End of the World.

Additional Boss Fights

You must save Riku in Hollow Bastion before you can take on any of these boss battles.

Phantom - With Peter Pan in your party talk to Tinkerbell and agree to let her take you to the clock tower.

Ice Titan - Win the Hades Cup to make this boss battle the Gold Match in the Colliseum.

Kurt Ziza - Go to Aladdin's house in Agrabah and talk to the dancing Magic Carpet.

Sephiroth - Enter the Platinum Match in the Colliseum.

Extras

When starting the game you'll be asked to choose a weapon. The sword is the strongest and should be your choice. After you choose your weapon you are asked three questions that will determine how quickly you level up. Choose the first answer to each question to get the maximum for everything.

If a party member "dies" leave the area for a safe place. You cannot leave an area without your party members so making an attempt will bring them back to life with half of their life bar full.

Fast Cash

Fight the Heartless in the Gizmo Shop in Traverse Town's second district. If you've advanced enough in the game defeating them should be no problem - even if you don't have potions.

White Mushrooms

Cast the following spells on White Mushrooms three times in a row and they will drop Spell Arts, Mystery Goos and other items. Collecting all of the Spell Arts will help in obtaining Goofy's Dream Shield from Merlin.

Rare Mushrooms

Cast Aero on yourself when you see a rare mushroom and stand under it when it jumps into the air. The mushroom should bounce off of your head and back into the air. Have the mushroom bounce on your head 50 times and you should get a Mystery Goo.

If you're luck you can find rare mushrooms on the Ship Deck in Neverland, in Monstro's Throat and at the End of the World (from the Final Rest area go back one screen - the mushrooms are very common here).

Gummi Ship Blueprint Models

After you seal Monstro, go back to Traverse Town's First District and talk to Gepetto in his one-room house to get your first Gummi Ship Blueprint Model. Once you've entered the house 30 times talk to Pinocchio to receive the Chocobo Model. Destorying a lot of Heartless Ships will grant you an additional 29 models. Use the following list to obtain the others.

Defeat the indicated number of Heartless to unlock these items, then talk to Gepetto to receive them.

Cid Model -- 500

Cactuar Model -- 1000

Yuffie -- 1500

Aerith Model -- 3000

Leon -- 4000

Hyperion -- 5000 and Learn All 6 Summons

Muddy Path Mini-Game Hint

Using upward-drafts from the circular wells works well enough, but on the shorter walls you can use another method to reach the immediate second level that is slightly faster.

• Stand Sora directly in front of the wall to which Pooh was transported by the Blue Butterfly Flowers.

• Jump using "O" button and when Sora is highest in the air Swing your Keyblade with the "X" button.

It takes some practice when you're not being timed, but Sora should just barely land on the edge of the ground of the wall if you can swing it just right.
