Fun Games - Game Boy Advance
The Game Boy line of systems has had a long and glorious history of great games. One of the first ultra-addictive games, Tetris, made its biggest splash on the Game Boy. With the updated hardware and capabilities of the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP and Game Boy Micro, games have become more fulfilling.
Mario Kart Super Circuit
- Type: Comic racing || Mario Kart Super Circuit
Another entertaining game in the Mario Kart series, Mario Kart Super Circuit takes the same ease of use found in other Mario games and throws racing (and banana peels) into the mix. Choose one of many kart racers from Nintendo's world of characters -- Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, etc. Then take on other racers and race around wacky courses for the top prize. Power-ups such as banana peels, Starman and turtle shells make the game all the more interesting.
This is the prime example of a video game that is easy to play right when you pick it up but can be mastered with enough experience.
Pokemon Emerald
- Type: Role playing game
As role playing games go, Pokemon Emerald is as simple and entertaining as they come. Most RPGs feature thick storylines, intricate dialogue and enormously complex menu systems. Pokémon manages to keep the charm of role playing games without all the complexity. Journey through the land and discover new creatures --Pokémon -- and tame them as your friends. When you meet other trainers you can pit your Pokémon against theirs. As your friends fight they get stronger, gain more abilities and sometimes evolve into much more powerful creatures. Pokémon games are quite addictive and are suitable for all ages and levels of video gamers.
Classic NES Series Games
- Type: Puzzle, Action, Racing
Nintendo has a series of classic games from the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) ported to the Game Boy Advance. These games feature the original graphics and play control of the retro titles. These older games have withstood the test of time and are fun, easy to play, and addictive to boot. Some of the most fun games out of the Classic NES Series are:
- Bomberman (Action)
- Donkey Kong (Action)
- Dr. Mario (Puzzle)
- Excitebike (Racing)
- Ice Climber (Action/Puzzle)
- Pac-Man (Action/Puzzle)
- Super Mario Bros. (Action)
Any one of these games is appropriate for any level of gamer. And an especially nice bonus is that the can be found at very reasonable prices from any retail store.
Fun Game #4: Wario Ware, Inc. Mega Microgame$
- Type: Mini-games
When the first Wario Ware video game made its debut, gamers weren't sure what to make of it. It didn't take long for it to catch on in a big way. The Wario Ware games contain a ton of mini-games --Wario Ware, Inc. Mega Microgame$ contains over 100. You have only around 8 seconds to do the best you can on each game, then it's off to the next one. The wackiness, the speed, and the crazy fun makes Wario Ware, Inc. Mega Microgame$ an extremely good game.
Mario Tennis Power Tour
- Type: Comic sports
Following in the tradition of the Mario Tennis series of games found on the Nintendo 64 and GameCube, Mario Tennis Power Tour delivers simple, straight-forward gameplay for an instant smash of fun. If you're looking for a quick fix, this game definitely delivers a solid tennis engine combined with the cartoony antics of Mario, Luigi, Waluigi, Bowser and friends. The "Power Shots" add an interesting twist to an already fun game. If you're more into a long-term commmitment, the RPG-ish story mode will keep you enraptured for quite some time. Mario Tennis Power Tour definitely serves it up.
