Xbox
From LoveToKnow VideoGames
Do you want to know "is there an invincibility cheat in Halo on Xbox?" You are probably not the only one, since there are millions of Halo players around the world. Being invincible sure would make things easier, right? Well, whether you have nefarious motives or benign reasons for wanting an invincibility cheat, the answer to your question is below.
Is There an Invincibility Cheat in Halo on Xbox?
Without wasting your time, the answer is no. Many Halo gamers, from those on the original Xbox to the Halo 2 and Halo 3 players, wonder, "Is there an invincibility cheat in Halo on Xbox?" Legendary mode is the reason players wish there is an invincibility cheat. Legendary mode in Halo requires more skill and quickness than the easier three levels because the enemies are smarter and gang up on you.

So is there any way to become invincible in any of the Halo games? While there is no mode or set of instructions that make you invincible for the entire game, there are strategic things you can do to become temporarily "invincible".
- Find a Chief Brute with a gravity hammer (or any Chief Brute, but the one with a gravity hammer makes you invincible more consistently). Before the Brute is able to use the hammer, kill him. The best way to do this is by sniping him. If you try close combat fighting, it’s possible that he’ll get to use the hammer before you can kill him. After he is dead, you get the hammer. You can either keep it or switch it out for invincibility, which only lasts for a short time. Thirty seconds isn’t a long time, but being invincible is being invincible no matter how long it lasts.
- This works in all the Halo titles because the overshield is present in all three games. When you find an overshield and pick it up, you become temporarily invincible as the shield charges up to full green. The full charge takes about two or three seconds, but if you plan it right, you can use it to your advantage. How can you utilize this? First, know where the overshields are. Whether you are playing single play, co-op, or multiplayer, you should know where they are. Simply wait by the overshield and DON’T pick it up until the very last minute, like right before you go gung-ho into a huge group of enemies. In multiplayer, the same strategy goes. The best way to use the overshield is to lure your opponents over to you and then pick it up as they come towards you.
- A harder way to become invincible is in cooperative mode. At the beginning of the "Two Betrayals" portion of the game, punch in this sequence on the controller: hold down Start and hit Up, Down, Up, Down, X, Y, Y, X, Y. At this point, the shields will not decrease. Again, like the other invincibility modes, this cheat only works for a short time and can only be used once. Now, if you start "Two Betrayals" again, you can type it in again, but the code will not work on any other levels.
Only 3
So there are only three answers to the question, "Is there an invincibility cheat in Halo on Xbox?" The cheats are not true invincibility cheats in the truest video game sense. Other invincibility cheats, commonly called "God Mode," don’t let you die, no matter how much damage you take. The cheats in Halo allow you to feel like this for a limited time. No matter how you become invincible—for an entire game or for a short time—you should do so for fun. Use invincibility to totally complete the game: finding missing items, locating treasure, obtain all of these pieces or those things. A game is made to entertain you. Are you truly entertained when you can beat a game with an invincibility cheat?
