The Halo 3 Original Soundtrack is the official musical accompaniment to the Halo 3 video game for the Xbox 360 video game system by Microsoft. As you know, this is the highly anticipated first-person shooter game that follows up on the story started by the first Halo: Combat Evolved and continued by the appropriately titled Halo 2. All three games were developed by Bungie Studios.

Just like the first two soundtracks for the first two games, the Halo 3 Soundtrack was also largely produced by Martin O'Donnell, in partnership with Michael Salvatori. The main soundtrack is on a single CD and runs for a total of 65 minutes and 8 seconds. At launch, there will be a special 2-CD set that will likely come with bonus materials.
