About Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock
Legends of Rock is expected to be released sometime in Fall 2007. It will be available for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and the Xbox 360.
Some features you can look forward to in GH 3 are: Slash as an unlockable character; a wireless Gibson Les Paul controller for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii with removable faceplates for customization; and a New Battle Mode that allows you to compete against an opponent. You do this by trying to complete songs and using star power sequences to earn attacks, which can used against the other player.
These attacks include:
- Broken string –the affected person will have a fret button that does not work until they continually press it
- Difficulty up – have to play the song at an increased level for a short time
- Amp Overload- screen will appear a bit blurry to the opponent, making it difficult to read for a short time
- Steal Power- the opponent’s accumulated star power is taken and given to the other player
- Double Notes-Any notes shown become chords for the affected individual to play
- Lefty Flip- Fret board is flipped, requiring opponent to switch the hand they use to play.
Comments
James: I own the game myself and I have Reptilia and Pearl Jam for sure. The Beastie Boys song can only be unlocked via the multiplayer career mode. The NAAST song must be purchased in the store using money you earn in the career mode.
-- Contributed by: MichaelKwanSadly, I own this game, yet some of these songs aren't in it. "She Builds Quick Machines?" Never heard of it, and it seems that Red Octane hasn't either. Neither is "Reptillia". Sorry fanboys or people who may commit suicide for this, but unfortunately a lot of those songs aren't in there. No Beastie Boys, no NAAST, not even any Pearl Jam. And also, you don't need to switch your hands with the lefty flip. All it does is switch the orange button to green, the blue to red, the yellow to yellow (it's in the middle), and so on.
