Free Wii Points Codes
From LoveToKnow VideoGames
Unfortunately, getting free Wii points codes will take some effort on your part. There is no site or offer that makes getting those codes 100% free, but there are some websites that you can join, and with a little effort, you can work towards getting some free Wii points codes. Keep in mind that most programs that offer those codes require you to take surveys, complete offers, and in most cases, solicit referrals. But with some time and some toil you'll be entering in some free Wii codes in no time.
Blockbuster TotalAccess Trial Offer
Through Let's Play Wii, you can sign up for a Blockbuster TotalAccess trial and receive a points card for free. The introductory trial is 14 days and it takes 1-3 days for your sign-up to be official, and then your card will be mailed out. This site also ran the previous True.com promotion as outlined below.
Gaming Lagoon
At Gaming Lagoon, you can get a free Wii points card by completing offers and surveys and referring friends. Yes, it is like those other sites: you get two cents per survey and 10% of your referrals complete surveys, etc. Except with Gaming Lagoon, you get Wii points.
They also have a contest where they give away part of a point code every 45 minutes. When the entire code is complete, the first person to type it in wins the value (usually $10).
Rewards1
Rewards1 is a site where you complete offers to earn points. Besides gamer points, you can also redeem the points for game systems, iPods, video games, and even cell phones. If you don't see a prize that you like, you can make a special request. Rewards1 will try to get what you want.
They have quick turnaround time in terms of prize redemption processing of 0-3 days, which is considerably less than the 4-6 weeks other sites take. You can get 2000 Wii Points for 20 points. The site is free to sign up with and your prizes come in the form of eBay and Amazon certificates.
Referrals
Since most sites let you earn points redeemable for Wii points or actual money that you can convert to Wii points, you will undoubtedly want to recruit your friends. Keep in mind that most people don't like receiving e-mails "inviting" them to a site to earn prizes. Ask your friends directly if they would like to join the site you are earning on and then send them the referral link.
Also, if you are thinking about signing up, but don't want to help someone out, keep an eye out for those referral links. If there is more to the web address than the main .com name, then it's probably a referral link. Some people are clever enough to use HTML to hide the link, so just use a mouse rollover to view the web address in the bar at the bottom of your browser. Remember that if you want to start referring people, then lend a hand and use the referral link to sign up.
Interesting Previous Offers for Free Wii Points Codes
Back in 2006, if you signed up for a 7 day trial at True.com, a dating website, and completed a profile you were eligible for free Wii points codes worth 2000 points. A credit card was needed, but nothing was put on the card if you canceled in time. One hiccup in the offer was that to cancel your membership, you had to call a customer service number. Still, gamers took advantage of the True.com offer and collected a good amount of points.
Some gamers have even tried some shady methods. Someone will post that their Wii Points codes aren't working on their system and ask that someone send them a new code to enter to "test the system". Some have reported that they are actually sent codes!
Not 100% Free
To get those Wii points, you have to complete offers and surveys and refer friends to the sight. Some of the offers are free, but most require a purchase of some sort or credit card information. Most sites make money hoping you'll forget to cancel, so make sure you forget to cancel a membership if you are working towards a free Wii points code to play those Virtual Console games!
