Everyone likes having stuff for free and free online computer games can be very compelling. And if you are into games, there are plenty of websites offering titles that will feed your addiction. So where do you go?
Miniclip
When I discovered the Miniclip website, I noticed that they have a big selection of games. All you need to do to get started is to create a username and password that no one else has selected. You may also need to install Macromedia Shockwave Media Player if you don’t already have it. Some of the games offer a “premium” package for a small monthly cost. For the extra cost, most of these packages usually offer additional scenarios, weapons, larger maps, etc.

Robotage Rearmed
: If you’ve ever played any type of robot combat games like the Armored Core series or Robotech, you will like this title. You get to build your own robot, fight others in one-on-one battles and can even upgrade your weapons.Monster Truck

If the free games are not enough for you, they offer a “premium” package for $5.00 a month. Here you can have additional goodies available to you, different places to go, and larger rewards to find.

Free Online Games - Good or a Waste of Time?
Some free stuff is great, others you can take with a grain of salt. The Web is a large playground filled with possibilities to satisfy most gamer’s interests. Some games range from the incredibly simple to the deeply involving. I find these free games a nice substitution when I don’t have access to my video consoles or a cool PC game. (Which is rare, but it could happen). Many online games seem like a teaser and a prelude to get you to purchase a monthly subscription to feed your gaming frenzy. I can take or leave them.
