Final Fantasy X-2 Hints, Tips and Cheats

Quickly restore your health

• Go to a save sphere, press the X button, then choose “cancel”. Your party's health will be full without actually saving the game.

Good places to level up

• Leblanc Syndicate’s headquarters, Cid’s Secret Dungeon and the Depths of the Farplane (high level characters only).

Score easy Dance Points

• You find this in the mini-game. Ignore the instructions and press X + Square + Triangle + Circle over and over to earn 500 points or more.

Skip Intermissions

• Just pause the game and press the Square button to skip it.

Open the Bonus Dungeons

Via Infinito

• In Chapter 5, there is a room with a lift. Behind the Kinderguardians is a portal where the dungeon resides.

Fiend Colony

• You need to raise a level 5 Chocobo and go to Mihen Road.

Chocobo Dungeon

• Raise Chocobos to level 5, and then talk to Clasko.

Heal characters easily

• Change your characters that are low in life into White Mages. Even the smallest potions or low level white spells will fill up their hit points. Then change them back to their original classes, and their hit points will be at their maximum.

Reset the game during play

• Press L1 + L2 + R1+R2, Start, and Select buttons at the same time.

How to get Baralai’s Sphere

• It is found in Guadosalam, just behind the locked door. Complete all the Mount Gagazet missions that let the Guado move back to his homeland. Then talk to him and he will open up the door.

Quickly level up White Mages

• In an easy battle kill all but one enemy. Then turn your characters into White Mages, and secure the X button down with some tape. Any damage inflicted will be countered with the prayers.
