Hints

Quick Reload

As you start to reload, switch to a different weapon. Switch back and your weapon will be reloaded 3-5 times faster.

Sector 2 Boss Weak Spots

Enforcer (City Boss)—On the machine’s back near the bottom is a round lighted area. As soon as your crosshairs intersect it, your gun will lock on to it. Use a powerful weapon, like the rocket launcher or shotgun for quick results. Colossus (Base Boss)—Get to the tops of the stairs and make sure you’re looking down on Colossus’ head. When the head opens, fire away. Again, use the shotgun for the best results as you’ll only need 4 or 5 shots to kill him. Mantis (Ruins Boss)—Get as close as you can and shoot the underside. Make sure you're aiming for the underside because the outer shell will defect your shots. You may be able to get one or two shots off before you have to dodge away and come back. If you have the Photon MG, use it because it stops Mantis for a bit. Then you can sprint in there, get a few shots on the underside before he starts moving again.

Best Weapons for the Bosses

Mantis—Shotgun (for close range shots), Assault Rifle, Vulcan, RPG (for knocking him off the ceiling), Honeypots, and the Photon MG (stops in his tracks…see above strategy.) Colossus-- RPG (for his head), Shotgun (for his head), Vulcan (for his assorted body parts) Enforcer—Shotgun (again, close range shots for best damage), Assault Rifle, Photon MG, Vulcan, Any of the grenade launchers, Chaff Grenades NOTE that the Vulcan isn’t found until Infinity Mode and any of the launchers may be ineffective on the Enforcer’s later incarnations.
