City of Heroes is a massive online role-playing game for the PC where you can play as a multitude of super hero type characters. Set in a large city, it is filled with villains, aliens and monsters. Defend the city and customize your own hero by choosing super powers and a secret identity costume.

Shows you how much power damage inflicted on the current day K
Display the real world time E
Total power usage for the day J
Display the game’s time F
Total current elapsed time logged in with your hero M
Displays the number of heroes in the current zone G
Shows the total time played with the current hero O
Shows the names of the other heroes playing in the current zone H


Change the color of text displayed

  • First type /bind then press ENTER. Next type in xxxxxxbeginchat > , where “x” is the color name or hex value.

Make your hero dance

  • Type in ;Dance into the chat window. Continue to enter the code to see your hero perform different dance moves.

Get Marvel costumes

  • Enter /e:marvel costume to see a list of costumes. Keep entering this code to get different costumes.

Read the Paragon City Newspaper

  • Enter /e newspaper. The paper will stay there until you move your character.

Super Jump without using your powers

  • Move towards the border wall and press and hold the jump key while pressing the forward key at the same time. You can evade enemies who use melee weapons and it can give you a chance to heal without being attacked.

Obtain the Isolator Badge

  • You will need to beat 100 Contaminated in the tutorial zone area.

Get easy experience using invisibility

  • First, go into a mission where there are clickable objective items that will give you experience. Then, activate invisibility and get all the items and go back outside. As long as the level does not end by just clicking on the items, you can keep going back in by restarting the mission and picking up the items over and over again until you get enough experience points. Also, make sure when you level up that you don’t train, so you can continue getting the same amount of experience easily.
