Just because you're looking for cheat codes for Xbox games doesn't make you a cheater, does it? Sometimes, you just need a little help getting past that difficult level. Maybe you want to know how to unlock new characters, new weapons, or new levels. Whatever your motivation, we've got all sorts of cheats for both the original Xbox and the Xbox 360 for you to enjoy.
Microsoft Xbox
There are many different types of cheat codes. Some games will get you to enter a specific button combination at a certain time, whereas others have a dedicated cheat code section where you can enter a password of sorts to unlock certain content. Some cheat codes for Xbox games can only be accessed using a device called the Gameshark.
Here are some Xbox cheat codes for three of the system's most popular titles.
Black Cheat Codes
Black is a gritty action game from Electronic Arts.
To get unlimited ammo in Black, you'll need to unlock the silver weapons. This is done by completing the game on any difficulty setting. All weapons on that difficulty level and lower will now be silver, indicating that they have unlimited ammunition.
Ninja Gaiden Black
Ryu Hayabusa is back in Ninja Gaiden Black for the Microsoft Xbox.
While the only difficulty setting available to you in the beginning is normal, you can gain access to four other settings. Ninja Dog is achieved by dying three times consecutively in Chapter 1. Hard is unlocked by completing the game on Ninja Dog or Normal. Unlock Very Hard by finishing the game on Hard. Finally, challenge the Master Ninja level by finishing the game on Very Hard.
Halo: Combat Evolved
We were first introduced to Master Chief in Halo: Combat Evolved. Since then, fragging aliens (and your friends) has never been the same.
If you're having trouble killing the Covenant Hunters, you may want to look for an orange spot on the back of their neck or back. Shoot this spot perfectly and they will be defeated instantly.
Xbox 360
The system may have gotten off on a bit of a rocky start, but the Xbox 360 is now firmly established among the online gaming community. The Xbox Live interface is hugely popular and the Xbox 360 is well known for its variety of first-person shooters.
Rumble Roses XX
Girls can fight too! Rumble Roses XX is a well-designed wrestling game featuring a number of scantily clad women. There's no denying who they were targeting with this game!
Want to get these wrestling gals in a maid costume? First, you'll need to unlock the Photo Shoot Mode by earning $8,000 in cash and buying the camera from the shop. Then, go to the Photo Shoot Mode with all of the characters. Go to Edit Costume and you should now find the maid costume.
Full Auto
Gentlemen, start your engines! And then smash into your opponent. That's the idea behind the vehicular combat game called Full Auto for the Xbox 360.
The cheat code system for this game requires the accumulation of points. If you survive the Ambush Series, for example, you earn 20 points. Survive the Speed Kills series to get 100 points!
Halo 3 Cheat Codes
It's understandable that the most popular cheat codes for Xbox games will be for first-person shooters like Halo 3, the highly anticipated conclusion to the famed trilogy. Finish the fight!
After all that hard work, you must want to be rewarded with a special ending, right? The special Halo 3 ending is shown when you finish the game on Legendary mode. Note that you don't need to finish the whole game in that mode; just the final stage.
