Final Fantasy X-2
The Final Fantasy series is possibly one of the most legendary role-playing game franchises of all time. For the vast majority of these games, you don't get any out-and-out cheat codes, because they would take away from the story and development of the game. However, there are still some terrific secrets to unravel.
If you find that you're having trouble getting past some of the more difficult sections in Final Fantasy X-2, you will be glad to hear that there is a cheat that fully restores the health of your entire party. It's not an unlimited health or "God Mode" in the traditional sense, but it does top you up.
To quickly restore your health, find an available save sphere, press the X button, and then cancel. All of the health bars will be returned to full without actually having to save the game first.

Gran Turismo 4
Get behind the wheel of some of the most remarkably race cars this planet has ever seen in Gran Turismo 4. This game is clearly not for the feint of heart, because it accurately recreates the real racing experience rather than taking on an "arcade racer" approach.
If you really want to race, you'll want the '04 Polyphony Formula Gran Turismo. You unlock this incredible machine by winning the Nurburgring 24-hour endurance race. While some people may not think of it as one of the best cheat codes for PS2, this is one of the most valuable and rewarding unlockables that you will find on any PlayStation 2 game.

Guitar Hero
Rock out! The Guitar Hero series really brought rhythm ("music") games to the forefront in North America and for good reason. Understanding how the game works is actually quite simple, but hitting the expert level is quite a different matter altogether.
When you first start out, you'll be offered a fairly limited playlist. It can be quite time-consuming to unlock the entire list of songs, so wouldn't it be easier to unlock them all from the get-go? To do this, go to the Game Mode selection screen and enter the following sequence on the guitar:
Yellow, Orange, Blue, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Yellow.

Kingdom Hearts 2
Kingdom Hearts 2 is an RPG that is exclusively available on the PlayStation 2 and it's also one of the most prized titles for the home console. As such, it's also home to some of the best cheat codes for PS2 as well.
Combining the Disney (Buena Vista Interactive) universe with the Final Fantasy-like Square Enix world, this game offers quite the unique experience. Finishing the game the regular way will reveal the standard ending, but did you know that there is a secret ending?

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
Following up on Sands of Time and Warrior Within, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones completes the trilogy for our incredible sword-swinging warrior hero.
The regular sword can be quite fun in this game, but you can take the adventure much further by equipping your hero with a chainsaw as a secondary weapon. To do this, enter the following code on a pause screen:
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle, Square, Circle, Square.
